There are a few good exercises to lose belly fat. Something that that I want to get across from the get-go is that none of these are crunches or sit-ups! You see even though these exercises can make your abs stronger, they aren’t necessarily going to help you burn belly fat.
Instead, you have to focus on exercises that build muscle. The more muscle that you have, the more calories and fat you are going to burn. It’s that simple!
Don’t worry about getting huge if you don’t want to. Just from doing strength-building workouts, you are not going to get very big. The only time that people get extremely big is if they spend a ton of time in the gym and eat a ton of calories. You’d be amazed at how much you have to eat to maintain a lot of muscles like that!

All of that said, let me get to those good exercises to lose belly fat. You should probably look up how to do these on YouTube or something, but I’ll do my best to explain each one.
The first thing that I recommend is the pull-up. If there is one exercise that is neglected by most people, it’s this one! The thing is, this works out your entire body including your abs. Because it uses so many muscles, it is extremely effective for increasing your metabolism. The higher your metabolism, the more fat you’re going to lose.
The only problem with pull-ups is that you need a pull-up bar. Your gym will most likely have one, or you can purchase one for your home to go in a doorway. If you can’t do any pull-ups without help, consider using a chair. An assisted pull-ups is better than nothing!
Another one of the good exercises to lose belly fat that I want to cover is the clean. This is basically where you bend your knees, grab a barbell, and then stand up while lifting up the barbell to your chest. Because this has high potential to hurt your back, you probably want to do this with someone who knows what they’re doing!
Again, this will build strong muscles and greatly boost your metabolism. That’s why this is so helpful to burn fat quickly.
Finally, you should definitely do squats. These work the largest muscles in your entire body, so it is guaranteed to help you burn fat very quickly! The stronger your quads get, the more fat you will burn. Since this burns fat everywhere, you’ll have a flatter belly in no time!
